Privacy Policy

The short version

Avid Brio LLP ("Avid Brio", "we", "our", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you use avidbrio.com, why we collect it, what we do with it, and the rights you have over it. We do not sell your personal data. We use a small number of trusted third parties to run our website and our marketing, and we hold them to the same standard we hold ourselves to.

1. Who this policy applies to

This policy applies to visitors to avidbrio.com, prospects and clients who contact us, candidates who apply through the site, and anyone whose personal data we process in the course of running our business.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to respond to you and run our business properly. That falls into a few categories:

  • Information you provide. Your name, email, phone, company, role, country, and the contents of your message when you fill in a contact, quote or careers form.
  • Information collected automatically. Device type, browser, OS, referring URL, pages viewed, time on page and approximate location — collected via cookies and analytics tools.
  • Information from third parties. If you reach us through LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads or a partner referral, we may receive the campaign or referral context attached to your enquiry.

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Responding to enquiries submitted through our contact, quote or careers forms.
  • Preparing proposals, statements of work and contracts.
  • Improving the performance, content and usability of avidbrio.com.
  • Measuring the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns.
  • Sending occasional, opt-in updates and insights to subscribers.
  • Complying with applicable legal, accounting and tax obligations.
  • Preventing fraud, abuse and security incidents.

4. Lawful basis for processing

Where applicable law (such as the EU/UK GDPR or India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023) requires us to identify a lawful basis, we rely on one or more of: your consent; the necessity of processing for a contract with you; our legitimate interests in running and improving our business; and our legal obligations.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies on avidbrio.com to make the site work, understand how it is used and support our marketing. Cookies fall into four groups:

  • Essential. Required for the site to function. Cannot be switched off.
  • Analytics. Help us understand traffic and improve the experience. Currently powered by Google Analytics 4.
  • Marketing. Used for ad measurement and re-targeting on Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads.
  • Personalisation. Remember your preferences and the content you have already seen.

You can manage your preferences through our cookie banner on first visit and via your browser settings at any time.

6. Third parties we share data with

We share personal data with a limited set of trusted service providers, only to the extent needed to run our business. Current providers include:

  • Google Analytics 4 — website analytics.
  • Google Ads & LinkedIn Ads — marketing measurement and re-targeting.
  • Website hosting and form processors.
  • Email and productivity tools.
  • Payment and accounting providers.

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We require every processor to apply at least the same level of protection that we do.

7. International transfers

Avid Brio LLP is based in India and serves clients across the world. As a result, your personal data may be processed in countries outside your own. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards — such as standard contractual clauses, vendor data-processing agreements and equivalent regional mechanisms.

8. How long we keep your data

We keep personal data only for as long as it serves the purpose we collected it for, and then only as long as our legal, tax, accounting or contractual obligations require:

  • Enquiry data from contact forms: up to 24 months unless an engagement begins.
  • Client records and project documentation: for the duration of the engagement and up to 7 years after, in line with tax obligations.
  • Candidate data: up to 12 months unless you ask us to keep it longer.
  • Marketing subscribers: until you unsubscribe, plus a short suppression period after.

9. Security

We take security seriously and apply reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal data — including encrypted connections, access controls, vendor due diligence and regular reviews. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to keep yours protected.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have some or all of the following rights over your personal data:

  • Access — ask us what we hold about you.
  • Correction — ask us to correct anything inaccurate or out of date.
  • Deletion — ask us to delete your data where we are not required to keep it.
  • Restriction — ask us to pause processing in certain circumstances.
  • Portability — ask for a copy of your data in a portable format.
  • Objection — object to processing that relies on our legitimate interests.
  • Withdraw consent — at any time, where processing relies on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@avidbrio.com. We respond to verifiable requests within 30 days.

11. Children

avidbrio.com is intended for a business audience. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time — for example, when we add a new tool, change a vendor or respond to new regulation. We will always update the "Last updated" date at the top, and where the change is significant, we will say so clearly on the page.

13. Contact
